M Qamruzzaman Qamar, President, INTUC West Bengal and Sri Dibyendu Mitra, General Secretary of the Organisation were at the AICC Conference at Ahmedabad, the mother land of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister of Independent India and a renowned freedom fighter.

The session started with remembering him and the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, discussing their memories and their sacrifices for the country.

The participants were thrilled and took oath to liberate the country from the fascist dispensation at the centre and from majority of Indian provinces.

Qamar Saheb also had a fruitful discussion and shared some cherished memories with Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, an MLA and Secretary, AICC and leader of the CLP, Bihar.
