At North Bengal CTUs of Alipurduar, Darjeeling, Coochbehar, two Dinajpurs, Malda & Jalpaiguri Districts observed Abasthan Bikhhob at Siliguri today on 09.08.2023, against the anti labour, anti people, anti poor BJP government at centre.

The rally started at 1 pm from Siliguri Mahanandaa brigde and came via hillcart road, Hasmi Chowk, Court more to Bagha Jatin Park where the Dharna was started by more than 2000 workers.

The rally led by Mani Kumar Darnal, General Secretary of INTUC-WB along with Dilip Das, President INTUC-Darjeeling, Debabrata Nag, President INTUC-Jalpaiguri, Biswajit Sarkar, President INTUC-Coochbehar and other prominent leaders of INTUC & other Central Trade Unions. They also addressed the mass and asked to dethrone the BJP government from centre for the sake of the working classes.
