Today, the inauguration of opening Session of Triennial Conference of All India National Life Insurance Employees Federation (INTUC) has started at Middleton Chamber, Kolkata, with the hoisting of AINLIEF Flag by West Bengal INTUC President M Qamruzzaman Qamar.

More than 250 Delegates across the country participated in the Open Session and 1st day of Delegates Session today. The Open Session was inaugurated with the Lighting of Lamp by Sri MK Raghavan, Honourable MP from Kozhikode, Kerala.

Sri V. Narasimhan, General Secretary, AINLIEF, in his welcome speech briefly narrated the challenges before us.

M Qamruzzaman Qamar, President, INTUC, West Bengal delivered his valuable speech, covering all the challenges being faced by the working class today due to anti labour Policy of Central Government.

Smt. Mita Chakraborty, a spokesperson of AICC, narrated nicely about the ILO Convention C-190 which is not ratified by Central Government.

Sri MK Raghaban, MP spoke at length about the anti-labour Policies of Central Government. He also briefly narrated how Congress Party is fighting against anti-people Government Policies in the Parliament.

Sri T Ramchandran, General Secretary of All India National Life Insurance Officers Congress (INTUC) also delivered his valuable speech.

Later, a Press Meet was organised which was attended by the Leadership of AINLIEF along with M Qamruzzaman Qamar, President, WBPNTUC, Smt. Mita Chakraborty, Spokesperson, AICC and Hon’ble MP Sri MK Raghban.

Smt. Lipika Bhattacharya presented her song nicely.

Vote of thanks was given by Smt. Bulu Guha Thakurta.
