Labour Friendly INTUC at Sea-Bay….
Today (24.11.2022) INTUC West Bengal Branch started two days long Programme at Digha Sea Bay, Purba Medinipur with the Workshop on the effect of Labour Codes upon the Social Security to the unorganised workers.

At the Conference Hall of ABASARIKA the WB Labour Welfare Board Guest House the Workshop was inaugurated by Md Qamruzzaman Qamar, President INTUC-WB Br. Digha-Kanthi Town Congress & Digha Nehru Market Shop owners Association felicitated Qamar Saheb with Uttorio & Flower Bouquet.
The main mentor of the workshop was Mr. B. R. Sathpati, Labour Enforcement Officer of Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt of India. Mr. Qamar felicitated him with “Uttorio”.

Various unions of Unorganised Sectors like Bidi, Transport, Fishermen, Building & Construction, Zardoshi and others of various districts were perticipated at the Workshop and learnt about the benifits of Social Security Schemes & the procedure to get the same.

This two days long Programme of INTUC West Bengal Branch has already impressed immensely to the unorganised workers of the Digha Bay area which was observed in association with Digha-Kanthi Town Congress
