As instructed by Md Qamruzzaman Qamar, President INTUC-WB Br., INTUC affiliated Hindustan Steel Workers Union of Durgapur Steel Plant organised “Bijoya Sammiloni” at Bidhan Bhaban Community Centre, Durgapur, on 05.11.2023, which is the first time in the history of DSP, where more than 800 employees both male and female participated along with their spouses and taken oath to protect DSP from draconian anti labour and pro corporate policies adopted by both Central Government and Management by garlanding the Statue of legendary Chief Minister of West Bengal Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the maker of Bengal.

Mr. Paresh Nath Karmakar, Working President, Mr. Rajat Dikshit, Jt. Secretary of the union organised the programme along with the office bearers Mr. Barun Chatterjee, Santanu Bhattacharya, Avijit Sinha, Surojit Mishra, Dipankar Dubey, Sajal Chatterjee, Milon Singha, Ananga Banerjee, Asim Mosan, Anil Mahato, Tarun Das, Souvik Chatterjee and others and given the clarion call to go for all out strike lastly, if the ever fascist central government and management not repeal their anti labour practices or not restore the traditional work culture of the establishment.

Cultural programme was staged very gorgeously and colourfully which enjoyed by the jam packed audience.
