This is to inform you all that “All India Shramik Samman Yatra” is being organised from 27th January to 25th February, 2025, which will cover as much as 12 states and will culminate at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, by Working People’s Coalition (WPC), which is an independent, non-partisan network of diverse organisations supporting the cause of informal labours – street vendors, domestic helpers, gig workers, construction workers, home-based workers, sex and bar workers, fishermen, scheme and health workers, forest workers, agricultural workers, garment workers and countless others which constitutes around 90% of Indian workforce, pan India.

An introductory and awareness campaign, which is supported by INTUC, INTTUC, TUCC, AITUC and 17 Mass Organisations, has been started regarding this Samman Yatra and as per that a conference was organised today at Bharat Sabha Hall, Kolkata and the same was attended by M Qamruzzaman Qamar, President, INTUC, West Bengal Branch, and he has spoken in brief about the program and assured the organisers all possible support and help from the Stare INTUC.

Other dignitaries present as guests from State INTUC were Sri Dibyendu Mitra, General Secretary, Sk Samad, General Secretary, Sri Asit Saha & Surendra Singh and other supporters and workers.
