INDIAN NATIONAL TRADE UNION CONGRESS WEST BENGAL

The INTUC Central Woman Workers Committee is functioning from the INTUC National Headquarters. The CWWC is active in promoting women in trade union movement from grass root level to national level. As today’s corporate world calls for women empowerment and their role as active participants in the senior management through the concept of diversity in management and hence, INTUC in order to keep up the pace with changing time and demand also playing an instrumental role in promoting women in participative form of management. The State Level and Federations level committees are also functioning. The State Level committees and Federation level committees organized programmes on various occasions and specially on every year 8th March on the International Women’s Day. Through INTUC women members were nominated to attend Seminars and Workshops at national and international level.
