Seminar/Workshop on Health and Safety organised jointly by Global Industrial Union & Asansol Steel Workers Union (headed by Harjit Singh) held at Burnpur. Mr. M Q.Qamar, President, INTUC West Bengal Branch, Mr Raghunath Pandey, General Secretary of Metal Federation ( INTUC), GM-personnel, Safety Manager, Medical officer of IISCO/ISP, Ajay Ray, Gouri Shankar Singh, Bijoy Singh delivered valuable speeches and call upon the workers to take all preventive steps to avoid accident and make the workers aware of health and safety. 200 participants were taken part.

MR. QAMAR VISITED COLLIARY MAZDOOR UNION OFFICEAT ASANSOL AND DISCUSS THE PROBLEMS WITH SENIOR LEADERS LIKE CHANDI BANNERJEE, R.P.SHARMA, P. J. MASIH , TARUN JI, DEBASHISH AND OTHERS.

DURING HIS VISIT MR QAMAR ATTENDED A MEETING ORGANISED BY INTUC PASCHIM BARDHAMAN DISTRICT BR. WHERE HE WAS FELICITATED BY DISTRICT PRESIDENT SUBHASH SAHA & STATE SENIOR SECRETARY RAJAT DIKSHIT. HE ALSO VISITED PANAGARH, BUDBUD ETC. IN CONNECTION WITH MAKING THE FORTHCOMING GENERAL COUNCIL MEETING ON 4TH SEPTEMBER AT MOULALI YUBA KENDRA.
