Yesterday, a delegation from INTUC West Bengal Branch met the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal Sri CV Ananda Bose. The delegation was led by Janab M Qamruzzaman Qamar, the President, INTUC, West Bengal State Branch. He explained the situation prevailing in West Bengal especially in industrial zones. He requested the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal to look into the important issues (details are given in the copy of the memorandum attached).

Sarvasree Dibendu Mitra, the General Secretary, Sk. Samad, the General Secretary, Ashok Khan, Secretary, Maloy Mukherjee, Sr. Secretary and Smt Navaneeta Tirkey, the GS of Mahila INTUC, WB, accompanied Sri Qamar. 

The Hon’ble Governor had given a patient hearing and assured the delegation to take up the matter with State and Central Governments respectively as soon as possible.
